My passion for learning and teaching is never ending. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland, and I earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from C.W. Post. I am permanently certified by NYS, and I hold a Basic Religious Certificate.

Welcome Students!

I love learning about history, and I love teaching it even more! I work to make it fun and interesting by incorporating projects and activities that will keep you engaged. Sixth grade students will study World History and Ancient civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Greece, Egypt, Rome, and China will be explored. Sixth graders will also study the Renaissance and European Industrial Revolution. Seventh grade students will focus on American History, starting with the arrival of early people moving into the Americas. Exploration, colonization, the American Revolution, and the Civil War are some of the topics that will be covered. American History continues in 8th grade, where students will examine Reconstruction, Westward Expansion, The Progressive Era, Imperialism and World War I, The Great Depression, World War II, and Postwar America. I know it will be a terrific year!
